  4. 45-50g of protein seems so low. Is lowering protein to the .8g/ki ideal weight done temporarily? and when optimal weight is achieved, protein is increased to .6-1g/lb of lbm?

  5. i do practically lard only days now 🙂
    the fatty acid profile of lard or lardo is very good regarding the FADH2/NADH ratio.
    i notice that it kills the hunger very effective. sensational effect that reduces the calorie intake over the day automatically.
    and it works. for the weight loss results i am not sure. i don't have final results but i would say somewhere between 0,5kg and 0,3kg per day. i don't have enough data yet.
    what i consume on my "pure fat fast" (the term i came up with for fat macro >95% of calories)
    * pure fat fasting café lardo – black coffee with a spoon of lard mixed in (i came up with the name, sounds italian)
    * pure fat fasting soup – some bone broth, lard, grained broth puls boing hot water added
    * smoked lardo (only the white fatty parts of bacon). i got it for about 7,50€ per kg. i can not eat much more than 50g in one sitting – it is so extremely satiating.

    what i am wondering is the mitochondria growth boosting effect with that. i sometimes do SIT (spring interval training – lookup prof. martin j. gibala) and it boosts mitochondrial growth in cells that run out of ATP with this exercise. but that of course does not affect all cells in the body. so i hope the fat fasting day boosts the mitochondria in all my body cells to ramp up my metabolism forever. my metabolism was damaged a little bit after 1 year of keto and that needs to be fixed so that the weight loss goes on again.

  6. I just picked up a jar of Epic buffalo tallow and found out two of our local butchers sell rendered goose fat. Haven't bought it yet; not sure I trust one of the sources in particular, but we'll see. Thanks again for all you do! <3

  7. Ginger check out William Davis's latest video on why he stopped suggesting Niacin. Keto (or in his case the wheat belly diet) already is doing most of the things it does but Niacin raises blood sugar, this is the same thing that my Dr also told me.

  8. Hi Ginger! Do you know if regular grocery-store items (not grass-fed animal fats) still have the same amounts of the good Palmitic and Stearic acids? It is very hard for me to find grass-fed cream cheese and heavy cream. Great video….thanks for all you do!

  9. Hi Ginger have followed your channel for some time now i like what you produce
    I have been keto well try most of the time and have tried most of the available bread and flat bread recipes
    some are better than other and all take time which we don't always have time
    My Daughter has told me about a new product which she has seen advertised and she is going to get from Tesco if they have it
    it is called Lo-Dough which apparently has only 2 grams of Carbs per portion which also contains 9 grams of fiber .
    have you any knowledge of this product thanks brian

  10. Wow thank you. Sadly I can't have dairy. I use coconut milk for a can alot. I'll get some lard, pork and beef dripping. I made my own chicken dripping last night…glad I did after seeing this video. Are there any other dairy free high fat things i could have?
