Diet Doctor started with the goal to make low carb simple. It doesn’t get more simple than “reduce your carbs and increase your fat.” But is that too simplistic? As Diet Doctor founder and CEO Dr Andreas Eenfeldt explains, it may be.

Dr. Eenfeldt has always promoted following the science and, at the same time, simplifying things in a way that empowers people to dramatically improve their health. This commitment to helping people in science-backed ways has shaped Diet Doctor’s transition to promoting higher protein, somewhat lower fat approaches, and even promoting the potential benefits of low-fat foods. While this is a far cry from recommending low-fat diets, it does mark a departure from the simple message of “lower your carbs and increase your fat.”

At first, the change in message may seem confusing. But as Dr. Eenfeldt explains in this interview, it doesn’t have to be. You can still keep things simple as you improve your healthy weight loss and metabolic health.
