  1. AMEN!! Im just starting this new lifestyle change but my head spins with all the different things people say, your totally right there is no one sizes fits all

  2. Thank you for so many ideas and ways that I can help us get healthier! I am so grateful to have found DLK!

  3. Hello Stephanie! I am watching your YouTube videos and you give alot of advice. Thank you so much for all you do. You have an amazing outlook. I'm very new to this lazy keto so every amount of advice I'll take it. Trying to listen to your videos and oh yeah love your dirt cheap cookbook! I would love in the future to get your other books. But until then I'll listen and research what I can.
    Thanks again,
    Melissa M Bishop

  4. I love pinterest has food list and prices for keto products at aldis and walmart. I can say yuck for almond flour. I need to buckle down more.

  5. When I move if month I'm going on you tube for body groove and have an exercise bike. I have major back pain for 20 years in dec and left bad knee.

  6. I use my instant pot to cook 4lbs of chicken breasts and divide it into low carb tortilla chimichangas, chicken bacon ranch casserole and Low carb chicken tacos.

  7. I have 2 pounds of boneless chicken thighs marinating overnight in Greek yogurt, dill, parsley, onion and garlic powders, and S&P. I’ll grill them tomorrow night on my NuWave grill and serve the grilled Ranch chicken with green beans Almondine. Reboot ideas for the rest of the week:
    — My version of McDonald’s Bacon Ranch Salad: Ranch chicken on salad greens with bacon, cheese, and veggies, with more Ranch dressing or just balsamic vinegar and EVOO
    — White Pizza: CaliFlour pizza crust topped with some kind of improvised Alfredo or white-garlic sauce, Ranch chicken, bacon, tomatoes, and Mozzarella
    — Chicken Salad Wrap: chopped Ranch chicken mixed with mayo on a low-carb tortilla

It’s just me, so any chicken that’s left over by Thursday or so, I’ll freeze for some other time!

  8. This is just what I needed to hear. I came across DLK after I started Keto. So glad I found you.

  9. New to DKL and still at a loss to what I can meal planning….But one staple I currently like is MCT oil…still figuring out how to add more healthy fats.

  10. Hello I’m new to your channel you are beautiful I’m planning on buying your cookbook I can’t get the net carbs right because I think I go over I just need meals with total net carbs I can eat the whole recipe lo!!!!

  11. I’m currently almost 10 weeks in, down 35lbs and feeling amazing! Thank you for all your advice and encouragement ????

  12. This is so spot-on. I lost 50 lbs in 6 months at age 57 by low carb eating and maintained that 6 months. I’m now 58 and then in the last 2 months gained 10. The facts is, I gave myself permission to try different things as the grand kids were here through the summer, I thought maybe I’d just count calories to change-up my foods, we had 2 beach vacations thwarted by COVID and the Hurricane that hit the week of August 1st. When so many circumstances are moving at once (activity level as well), it leads to meal confusion (or chaos, lol). As with life in general, circumstances will change and just understanding and expecting that is a big deal! What I know is that the low-carb (and DLK) style of eating has been my answer. The process of learning my own body, motivations, anxieties, etc, and the relation to how I eat is not something I fear or dread now. There’s no one-size-fits-all for sure! I truly believe when the weight-loss journey is the goal, not the destination so much, it takes the pressure off and the results just happen! Thank you for sharing. I continue to learn and feel equipped for my weight challenges (and the ones to come!).
