  1. I'm defeated. I've been eating 1500 calories a day, under or around 20 carbs a day, intermittent fasting about 18:6 and I gave up literally everything but whole foods. It's been a month and I've lost ten fucking pounds.

One thing I want to say is eating keto friendly processed food is honestly not going to stop a lot of people’s weight loss but everyone body is different and you should have said that this was just according to you because my friend wanted to lose weight but she calls it “lazy keto” where she eats keto but it’s mostly like from chipotle or a power bowl from Taco Bell etc. she lost over 100 lbs in 7 months and started at 267lbs and also I’ve been on a stricter keto but I still eat out sometimes and I’ve lost 65 lbs as of today ☺️ it’s only been 3 months and I’m honestly shocked

What's weird is that the first time I did Keto, I started at 285lb and ate pretty much anything and everything I could while still staying under 20 net (more like 15 net per day) and probably was consuming close to 3k calories a day and still got down to 205 lbs in 6 months lol so idk about that calorie mistake, maybe it's different from person to person but it worked for me ????‍♂️

  4. Point number 2 don't agree with the calorie déficit this is we're IF comes in , doing a calorie déficit Will crazy your metabolism You must eat your calories in a short window this is where IF comes in doing 18-6 20-4

  6. I agree with a lot of what you're saying, in fact, I've followed this system for some time. this is basic Ketogenic lifestyle dieting. My story is this in a nutshell. We started Keto after being Vegan for 6 years… The main reason why we changed over was the health benefits. I had a heart attack at year 6 of a vegan diet, and I was able to cure my heart and vessels, and arteries after changing over to the keto diet.

  7. Hola Michaela. Thanks for all the info. I brought down my fasting glucose from 166 to 101 in the past two weeks just by avoiding sugar and flour as much as possible. I had two pieces of Mexican bread on a whim and it made me sick! Wow, I am impressed. I am currently sipping my Agua de Jamaica sweetened with monk fruit. ????

  8. Keto got me down from 245 to 220 and then my loss stopped totally. I had to cut the fats way down and do lean meat and vegetable only which got me down to 210. Then installed again and tried to do a balanced diet which wa a miserable failure. Went back up to 230. Got back on low fat keto. I guess that’s what I have to do for life as any carbs make me fat as hell

  9. Thank you mira for your info on keto diet,you have helped me so much for my son. He has to do this but he is really wanting his Luigi pizza, his goal, which his spine Dr set, is 30 lbs @ a time and he is so close, he may have already reached it but he injured his knee and just had surgery last Thursday and hasn't weighed in awhile,so, should he treat his self when he reaches his goals. Your input would be appreciated. Thank you and congratulations on ingagement

    1. Adding additional fats
    Do no add additional fats / or my have to much fat, oil, butter… you will get those fats naturally from your healthy foods.
    2. Having to many calories . Be mindful of your calories .
    Be at a calorie deficit , calories still matter, still count. No pounds of bacon , not a bunch of cheese , healthy natural fats .
    3. Not eating enough calories / you need to fuel your body , healthy meals.
    -( though I keep mine pretty low , so to each their own) .
    4. You have to watch the video for this one 🙂 , I want to be helpful , and also don’t want anyone to skip the video :).
    5. To many low carb foods 🙂 , eat them in moderation.
